Actually, it’s the fourth largest city in the country, so we’re not talking about some small mining company – this is a city with well over a million people that has been used for industrial purposes for 100s of years.
This means that, from a very early time, the area was a center of manufacturing, trade, and experimenting with the newest metals and techniques.
